Has your city established their own local bee club? Are there multiple clubs to choose from in your city?
Your State Beekeepers Association is a great resource for discovering a club near you! For example, I could look on the Colorado State Beekeepers Association to find a club in Colorado to join.
Not in Colorado? Here's another great resource from Harvest Lane to locate a club in your state.

The annual Bee Informed Partnership Loss & Management survey is available for beekeepers to take right now!
According to BIP's website:
Purpose: "To document honey bee colony losses and related beekeeping management practices in U.S. operations on an annual basis."
BIP's website states:
"The annual survey is the longest national effort to monitor honey bee mortality rates in the U.S. In addition to estimating the level of colony mortality in the country, the survey allows us to identify the most prevalent practices employed by U.S. beekeepers and relate those with risk of colony loss."
The survey is anonymous, voluntary, confidential and no cost to the beekeeper.
Visit the link to learn more and if you're a beekeeper, take the survey!!
