Our process of honey harvesting & extraction:

Honey production requires extensive work by the bees. This level of perfection far surpasses our comprehension and is truly miraculous.

My appreciation and respect for honey bees grows stronger every year, especially following a honey harvest.

As their beekeeper, I'm honored to harvest and extract their honey and I do so with the utmost care. This process is carried out with diligence to preserve the nutritional value of the honey as was intended by the bees.

Properties of honey vary considerably, resulting in uniqueness of flavor, scent, appearance and texture. These properties are influenced by the resources that are collected by the hive's foraging bees.

These distinct attributes of the honey can be captured if the beekeeper extracts each hive's honey separately. This is not common practice in today's beekeeping as it requires much more expended energy from the beekeeper.

However, some things in life are worth the extra time and effort and each drop of Boost the Bees honey is lovingly worth it.

Enjoy!

Our honey is:

- pure : no added ingredients

- raw : no pasteurization of any kind

- unheated : no heat applied

- unfiltered : a 600 micron coarse EZ-strainer is used, allowing for pollen retention in the honey

Our honey is not:

- certified organic : honey bees can forage 5-6 miles from a hive, but generally they stay within a 2 mile radius. These distances around our hives are not certified organic and therefore, neither is our honey.

"  I’ve lived 28 years on this Earth, and I’ve tasted honey in 7 countries. I’ve had honey from farmer’s markets, fancy grocery stores, and a questionable beachside stand in Mexico. But nothing comes close to the pure liquid gold from Boost the Bees. It’s so good I briefly considered quitting my job to become a beekeeper, just to understand how something this good is made. Kim, the mastermind beekeeper behind all this, is the type of person you can immediately feel the passion she puts into her work. If you’re in Denver and haven’t tried Boost the Bees, stop reading, go pick up some honey, & your tastebuds will thank you. "

" I have used honey on biscuits, pancakes etc for over 70 years. All honey tastes great, but BTB's is truly exceptional. It has a flavor fullness I've never tasted before. I highly recommend this delicious honey ❤️ "
